VetteVertici – Mountains and human rights
Many human rights are linked to the theme of the mountain: among these, we can think for example to the theme of the climate, the ice melting, the dryness of rivers… We can talk about sudden changes in cultural practices, about the rights of the new generations to live in a healthier and richer world, we can talk about politics, poetry, resistance and socio-cultural existence in places soured by natural peaks (Vette), and political and socio-economic summits (Vertici). We have tried to gather some ideas around these two concepts and we await for your participation, from different fields (from art to literature and linguistic research, jurisprudence, craftsmanship and sustainable agriculture), to collaborate in the exploration of the conceptual bridge between the theme of mountains and human rights.
