"E
ti ho lasciato bruciare", ("I left you burn")
performance-prayer to the nature with various voices, 2007
Venice beach, march 2007
Venice forest,
october 2007
This is a poetic performance
where in the first version, seven persons repeated some verses in seven different
languages (italian, german, arabic, spanish, greek, serbian, french, english)
translated from my poetry. The first performance (17 july 2007) was in front
of the sea during sunset on the beach in Venice-Lido.
In the other event, the performance is devoted to Venice-Mestre forest, where
the trees, souls of the forest, don't differentiate the people considering
language, civilization or education.
So I composed a new inedited poem in italian languege, translated in german,
arabic, chinese, greek and persian language.
The power of the nature joins human people without distinction and a poetical
celebration can communicate with this power using the music of the words.
The deep hymn of humanity rises to the nature, join up with her and in turn,
it feels, resonates, radiates silence. The poem "I left you burn"
declaim this trasformation when the magic nature may flourish at any time,
like a seed in the desert and hope of life embracing trees.
