Biography of Laure Keyrouz

 

Laure Lichãa Keyrouz, artist, painter and poetess, was born in 1979 in Becharrè, a small town on mountains in the north Lebanon, where Gibran Kahlil Gibran, author of the book "The Prophet", was born too. From this cultural and natural enviroment she draw inspiration for her artistic passion.
She attended at Literary and Philosophical school and bachelor in Arabic literature in the Beirut Lebanese University. Afterwards she was going on studies at Holy Spirit University with a master. At the same time she started to study at the Fine Arts Academy in Beirut University - section II - where in July 2005 exposed her metaphysics paintings during the final exhibition, where she was classed first.
In the september of 2005 she received a scholarship of the Italian Cultural Institute and Foreign Ministry to attend to master in Italian language for foreigns at University of the Studies of Udine in Italy. Now she is attending at Fine Arts Academy in Venice (specialistic two-years course in paintings). She is also author of some poetries and novels in Arabic, French and Italian language.
